Conveniently Natural was born out of the idea that life (especially a healthy life) just doesn’t have to be that hard. We are dedicated to raising the health of the Kansas City community through fresh, “real food,” wholesome meals that are both satisfying and nutritionally balanced in a way that makes sense financially and fits into your lifestyle.
We are an All-American Midwest couple juggling the integration of raising our two girls and running a business. After 13 years of “work,” we decided to quit the corporate rat race to design a life and business around a wholly healthy environment for our family and yours. We used to believe in work-life “balance,” but like walking on a tightrope, balance is just something to lose.
Our goal is to help you heal, to enjoy simplicity, to honor your body, to love yourself, and to find the rhythm in your daily life to allow you to experience the best possible health. We don’t believe that there is any one “diet” that serves everyone. In providing high quality, organic ingredients that are fresh prepared in the hands of talented chefs with creative recipes, we hope that you can find your perfect blend of taste, health, and convenience…all while keeping your sanity.
HEAD MOTHER FORKER ~ KIM GORDON
I don’t know about you, but I did NOT grow up eating leafy salads and drinking green smoothies! My family’s idea of healthy eating was canned vegetables, diet soda, and Oreo’s (hey – the low fat kind). When my husband, Brian, developed severe acid reflux, followed by daily handfuls of pills, an invasive stomach surgery, and medical discharge by the Army, we became more educated about clean eating and reading food labels. From our family to yours, we hope you’re feeling strong in body, mind, and spirit.
Conveniently Natural was born out of our desire to find an easy, convenient, and affordable way to eat healthy after years of trying to figure out Brian’s health problems. We knew all too well the kind of hell that can become your day-to-day life with reflux, headaches, insomnia, irritable bowels, and more…on top of medications and surgery. When we discovered that nutrition was the key to feeling better, we were overjoyed. But spending $1,800 a month on groceries (for 2 adults, a 2 year old, and infant) some 10 years ago when the grocery aisles were sparse with organic, clean, whole foods was a recipe for insanity! We want to save you the hustle and hassle of doing this yourself.
